Ingredients:
- 30 g castor sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 30 g butter
- 40 ml condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 300 g bread flour
- 125 ml water
- 1 tsp intant yeast
- 15 g shortening
- 150 g raisins, soak for 15 mins, drain dry
Procedure:
- blend sugar, salt, butter, condensed milk, egg
- add prima flour, yeast, water
- mix with dough hook ... low speed for 2 mins
- medium speed for 3 mins
- add shortening ... mix medium speed for 5 mins ... till smooth
- add raisin ... mix low speed for 5 mins
- shape into ball ... cover bowl with damp cloth ... let rise for 30 mins
- divide dough into 2 ... shape into ball ... let rise for 15 - 20 mins
- mould dough into desrie shape ... cover with damp cloth ... let rise for 80 mins
- preheat oven 180*C ...
- bake loaves for 35 - 40 mins or
- raisin buns for 25 mins
Note:
- makes 2 loaves (360 g each) or
- 6 rolls (120 g each)
- raisin can be replaced with any dried fruits
