400 gm Flour (Wheat Flour used)
5 gm Salt
75 gm Cold Butter cube
225 gm Cold Water
250 gm Cold Butter

| Puff Pastry Ingredients |
Steps:
1. use dough hook ... to rub Cold Butter cubes into Flour in mixing bowl ... until crumbly
2. mix Salt with Cold water ... add and mix into smooth dough ... low to medium speed
3. shape dough into a ball and rest 15 - 20 mins in chiller
4. roll out into rectangle ... place Butter in the middle of dough
5. fold dough left and right side of the dough over the Butter ... wrap and chill for about 15 - 30 mins
6. roll dough into rectangle again and fold again ... wrap and chill ... repeat step 5 and 6 .. 2 more times
7. roll out dough to desire size ... bake 30 to 45 mins ... 200*C
8. sandwich two puff pastry with by spreading one layer of custard cream follow by a layer of apple strudle and another layer of custard cream
9. served hot or cold

Note to self:
* recipe yield about 1kg dough
* divided dough into 2 for baking ... pastry was to thick for our small home oven ... will try dividing the dough into 3 or 4 portion in the future

Apple Strudel Ingredients:
5 apples (skinned, seeded and sliced thinly)
5 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
5 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Steps:
1. mix above ingredients in a pan
2. stir over low heat until apples turns soft ... sugar caramelize
3. cool before use

Custard Cream Ingredients:
500 ml Milk (Soy Milk was used)
100 gm sugar
3 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp vanilla essence/extract
5 eggs (beaten)
Steps:
1. mix all ingredients in a pot
2. stir continuously over low heat till thicken
3. cool and refrigerate before use
