If you note any food allergy reaction whenever you or your love ones ate certain food ... from rashes, cough to asthma and anaphylactic reaction ... confirm it with an allergy test ... besides taking food allergen off the recipe and menu ... you need to ensure that there are no cross contamination from the worktop to equipments used ... read labels of packaged products ... unsured don't use ... it can be life threatening for someone with severe allergy and anaphylactic reaction.

Oatmeal Cranberries Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 240 gm softened margarine or butter
  • 400 gm brown sugar
  • 120 gm eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 360 gm all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 300 gm quaker oats
  • 240 gm cranberries, chopped

Procedure:
  1. heat oven 180-190*C
  2. with electric mixer beat margarine and sugar till creamy
  3. add eggs, vanilla and beat well
  4. in a mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt
  5. mix well and add to margarine mixture
  6. stir in oats, cranberries ... mix well
  7. drop 1 tabespoonful on to ungreased cookie sheets
  8. bake 10 - 12 mins or till golden brown
  9. cool 1 minute on cookies sheets
  10. remove to wire rack to cool
  11. store in air tight container
