Food Allergy

If you note any food allergy reaction whenever you or your love ones ate certain food ... from rashes, cough to asthma and anaphylactic reaction ... confirm it with an allergy test ... besides taking food allergen off the recipe and menu ... you need to ensure that there are no cross contamination from the worktop to equipments used ... read labels of packaged products ... unsured don't use ... it can be life threatening for someone with severe allergy and anaphylactic reaction.

Scones

Ingredients:
  • 80 gm Sugar
  • pinch Salt
  • 80 gm Butter

  • 1 no Yolk
  • 1 no Egg

  • 250 gm Cake Flour
  • 15 gm Baking Flour

  • 50 ml Milk

  • dusting Plain Flour
  • 50 ml Milk Wash

Procedure:
  1. in mixing bowl Sugar, Salt, Butter, use K beater, medium speed
  2. Do Not Over Beat, scrape side of mixing bowl
  3. add Yolk and Egg, medium speed
  4. add 1/2 Cake flour and Baking Powder, low speed
  5. add Milk, low speed
  6. add other 1/2 Cake Flour and Baking Powder, low speed
  7. mix well, add Raisin
  8. dust table and dough, roll and flatten into rectangle
  9. into a bag and chill 15 to 30 mins

  1. dust table, roll dough, thickness finger or thumb height
  2. dust round cutter with flour, cut out dough
  3. place on baking paper over baking tray
  4. apply Milk Wash with a brush for color
  5. bake 200*C / 180*C for 20 - 25 mins

Whipped Cream
Ingredients:
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 20 gm Sugar

Procedure:
  • whip cream and sugar until light and fluffy
  • serve with scone

Note:
  • best serve with Butter and Jam
